"One of the most valuable things that FastLane did was to think beyond what we said our problem was. They understood what we were trying to accomplish and helped us to not only accomplish our goal but to also lean out our process along the way. As a result, our process is optimized and scalable”.

Situation:
AIMM had developed a process to make their product but ran into challenges once they tried to scale. The process that had worked on a small scale did not work when scaled because the water vapor that is released would clog the lines. They realized that the more they tried to scale the more challenges they would run into. If they wanted to scale to 50x, they were going to need help.

Solution:
The FastLane team began by assessing the problem then facilitating a brainstorming session to troubleshoot and gather potential solutions. They offered technical advice and suggested machinery that could help AIMM to scale. FastLane presented multiple options and then worked with the team at AIMM to try potential solutions. FastLane also helped AIMM source materials and lower cost equipment, saving the team time and money. FastLane’s help allowed AIMM to leapfrog from promising a new technology to showing what they can do, which has allowed AIMM to team up with bigger players.
