Ohio MEP Internship Program

Ohio MEP Internship Program

helping manufacturers fill jobs with skilled high school students

Attention Manufacturers:

Do you want to hire students eager to work and ready to gain valuable experience?

We’re partnering with area schools to identify high school students who have studied and developed manufacturing-related skills. Now you have the opportunity to place them in your company through an internship program offered by the Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).

The Ohio MEP High School Internship Program assists manufacturers with their workforce needs and provides financial assistance for hiring local high school and career technical students as interns.

What advantage does having student interns offer?

Contribute to developing your future manufacturing workforce.
Connect with your schools to ensure that students are work-ready.
Get cash-back for 50% of student wages up to $1,500 per student.

Last year, 80% of the interns placed across Ohio were employed at the end of their internship!
