Creating a Compelling Employee Value Proposition
11:30am – 1:30pm
University of Dayton Research Institute
1700 S. Patterson Blvd.
Dayton, Ohio 45409
According to a recent Gallup study, 37% of engaged employees are looking for jobs or watching for opportunities, 56% of employees who are not-engaged are more likely to seek a new job. And for employee’s who are actively disengaged, the percentage of individuals likely to look for another job climbs to 73%. The evidence is clear, the more disconnected employees feel, the more likely they are to leave their job.
So how can you strengthen the connection between your employees and the company? You may be missing a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
An EVP is the compelling reason why someone would value working for your organization. It is the total summary of everything employees experience and receive while they are part of your organization: everything from inner satisfaction of the work, to the environment, leadership, relationship with coworkers, customers, compensation and more.
Creating and implementing a compelling EVP for your organization is an effective way to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover.
In this session we will help you develop your EVP by facilitating an interactive exercise designed to identify what makes your organization a great place to work, ultimately increasing attraction and retention of productive and engaged employees!
