Creative Problem Solving: Tap into Your Inventive Genius Potential
Problems. We all got them. They challenge us. They invigorate us. They frustrate us! But as universal as problems are, novel solutions to problems are much more rare.
Colleen Costello will unpack for us research-based techniques and strategies that anyone can use to develop their creative potential. In an interactive session, Colleen’s goal is to help you strengthen your ability to be an imaginative problem solver who makes an impact in your work place, family, community, and spheres of influence.
Presented by: Colleen Costello
As a chemical engineering grad from the University of Dayton, Colleen has spent the bulk of her career developing products in an R&D role. While working for such companies as Procter and Gamble, Unilever, Castrol, Spectrum Brands and now CAVU Group, she has developed a diverse set of innovative products ranging from hair styling agents and adhesives to air fresheners and medical devices. As a manager, Colleen enjoys reading or listening to podcasts on leadership development.
Having also started her own business, Simple Living Innovations, for a season, Colleen has an entrepreneurial spirit and an appreciation for the full scope of a business operation from marketing to business development. Serving and mentoring others, Colleen has volunteered and spoken many times around Dayton including ASC’s TechFest, STEM camps, and at her alma mater, UD. She has a passion to learn, connect, lead, and create and has enjoyed her involvement in WiM!
